AerospaceSpecialized melamine foam provides high-performance foam customized solutions for aircraft and spacecraft, adapting to Aerospace harsh working conditions and taking into account multiple requirements such as lightweight, fire protection and heat insulation.
The foam has a number of outstanding properties: the body is inherently flame retardant, reaching UL94 V-0, B1 levels; the thermal conductivity is as low as 0.035W/(m・K), with good thermal insulation effect; it can withstand 1000V DC withstand voltage, and the temperature range is -160℃~240℃; the density is as low as 8kg/m³, achieving equipment weight reduction; it has passed RoHS and REACH Certified, it burns without highly toxic smoke and does not lose fiber; it is also acid and alkali resistant, mildew and aging resistant, and the NRC noise reduction coefficient can reach 0.85. It can also be secondary processed and compounded with other base materials to adapt to special-shaped components.
The product can be used in scenarios such as filling and protecting insertion hole components, aircraft seat back cushioning, fairing sound absorption and noise reduction, etc.
