Aluminum foil faced melamine foam

Melamine foam features a three-dimensional reticulated structure with an open-cell ratio as high as 99.9%. Its extremely low thermal conductivity makes it an outstanding thermal insulation material. It is inherently flame retardant — no flame retardants are required. When exposed to fire, it forms a dense carbonized layer, self-extinguishes upon removal from flame, produces no molten drips, low smoke and non-toxic fumes.

With a density of only 8–12 kg/m³ and a temperature resistance range from -160℃ to +240℃, it contains zero formaldehyde and generates no dust. Lightweight, safe and eco-friendly, this single material meets three core requirements simultaneously: sound absorption, thermal insulation and flame retardancy.

● On-board HVAC & ventilation system: water-repellent customized melamine foam fabricated into formed pipe components. Resist water vapor erosion and maintain stable sound-absorbing and flame-retardant performance in the long term, adapting to vehicle working conditions with constant vibration and alternating temperature difference.

● On-board equipment compartments: liners for various electrical control cabinets and air conditioning units. Insulate high temperature and suppress equipment noise. Flame retardant property mitigates fire risks caused by circuit faults.
